Year in Review 2018

We kicked off 2018 with a bang - a statement of intent that saw recruitment of a new development director, two Awwwards wins for cosmetics visionaries Shopskin, a major technical migration for Cambridge Satchel Company as well as launches for ANNA, Maravilo and MyNameLabel. We also adopted Slate - Shopify's purpose-built build system.
Two major releases in the fashion sector for Giulio and Rejina Pyo are met with the a further award for Shopskin. In addition, we're invited to become part of the exclusive list of Shopify Plus Partners, and further bolster the senior team with the addition of agency operations director, Thomas Rumbold.
Rapid and rising demand means we need more people. Simon joins us in development, Steve joins us in design and we launch Katherine Daniels, Link, Harris & Jones and Train Body Brain shopify stores all in one go. Big quarter for production.
A big end to a big year. While launching lots of new client sites (Purelei, Champo, Katherine Daniels, Rejina Pyo - to name just a few) we launched the new BAO website and moved into a brand new studio. The new HQ was a huge hurdle for us and is designed to allow us to grow to service the rising demand that we're under. We also thinned out on our Christmas do at 10:30pm after eating far too much curry. Don't get it twisted, food comas are no joke. Roll on 2019, big things in store!
